About Beyond the Bends:
Beyond the Bends was born from a lifelong passion for motorbikes, the open road, and that unshakable sense of freedom only two wheels can bring. After over 20 years of riding across the UK — from coastal cliffs to rugged moorland — I knew it was time to share more than just the miles. This platform is about the rides we remember, the detours we treasure, and the connections that make biking a way of life.
I'm John Fielding Wilson, the founder of Beyond the Bends and the driving force behind Westcliffe Landings Ltd — a creative business built on storytelling through film, photography, and adventure. This project is an extension of that passion, blending my experience behind the lens with my love for the ride.
But this isn’t just about routes and engines. It’s about community. Whether you're chasing twisties through the Yorkshire Dales, exploring the Welsh coast, or just nipping out for a lunchtime blast, Beyond the Bends is your space to connect, explore, and belong.
